Don't Miss These Sessions at EVOLVE20

The industry’s biggest virtual event for Information Management and IT Systems Management, EVOLVE20, is just one week away. ASG’s interactive and complimentary conference will feature all the fascinating, impactful sessions EVOLVE is known for—just from the comfort and safety of attendees’ homes. This socially distanced format eliminates a common inconvenience for event goers: strategizing and building their personal session agenda based on which sessions are close together (i.e., walkable) and avoiding overlap. EVOLVE20 is architected so ASG Customers and Partners can attend the sessions that will support and enlighten their digital transformation journeys.

As you start perusing the EVOLVE20 agenda, make sure that these top sessions make your list:

  1. General Session—Leveraging Traditional Solutions While Embracing a Modern Approach — Tuesday, October 6 @ 9:00 a.m. EST

The General Session is a staple of the EVOLVE experience year after year. It sets the tone for the conference, as attendees get to hear from several leaders, including ASG CEO Charles Sansbury, and our host Paul Muller (who you may recognize from our podcast). Speakers will discuss everything from business continuity and innovation at the enterprise level, to where ASG is investing to ensure we are a strong, stable partner as our Customers and Partners race to both run and transform their businesses.

  1. Track KeynotesTuesday, October 6 @ 11:30 a.m. EST

EVOLVE20 is more catered to our Customers and Partners than ever. Rather than one general keynote for the entire conference, ASG is offering a keynote for each user group (these sessions are offered at different times for the APAC region):

    • Data Intelligence—Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast: The Journey to Digital Disruption. Sue Laine, VP of Strategic Technologies and Global Data Intelligence Advocate, will share ASG’s prescriptive approach to data maturity and discuss how ASG customers using this approach can swiftly address new challenges and opportunities, including retirement of the LIBOR exchange rates, emerging privacy regulations and advancing AI initiatives.
    • Systems—What to Do When Resources Go Down and Demand Goes Up: A Pandemic Story. Vice President of Product Management Jeff Cherrington will discuss why some enterprises (securities trading processors, wine club home delivery, media streaming providers) have seen demand increase during the pandemic, while others have seen demand decline. He will also explain how enterprises are responding using data visualization and automation to bridge the gaps imposed by both a remote workforce and increasing demands for innovation.
    • Content—5 Ways to Truly Modernize Your Content Services Strategy. Now, more than ever, institutions need to demonstrate their agility and quickly improve tools to accelerate processes, facilitate decision making, better connect information silos and meet customer needs. Doug Johnson, VP of Product Management, will explain how to create a more modern Content Services strategy, empowering organizations to be more agile, efficient and effective.
  1. Breakout Session with BNY Mellon—Lessons Learned from Implementing Data Governance and Data Lineage Programs at BNYM—Tuesday, October 6 @ 11:30 a.m. EST

Join Mike King, Director of Enterprise Data Governance at BNY Mellon, to learn how he and his team at BNYM tackled LIBOR. It was not just as a one-off, manual costly effort—but rather an opportunity to enhance data management processes, improve data quality and leverage data intelligence to spark innovation and enable automated, cost-effective responses to evolving compliance mandates in the highly regulated financial services industry.

We look forward to seeing you at EVOLVE20 this year. Visit the ASG website to learn more about what you can expect from the conference here, and be sure to engage #ASGEVOLVE20 on Twitter.
