EMEA IGNITE18: Global Partners

Last month, ASG hosted its premier EMEA partner enablement event, IGNITE18, in Dusseldorf, Germany. This was ASG’s first ever European-wide partner conference addressing the full ASG portfolio. As we gain more customers and prospects worldwide, ASG is increasingly invested in enabling our global partner community to help accelerate revenue and enhance proficiency with our suite of solutions. 
 
Twelve ASG partners joined us from Germany, Belgium, the UK, France, Turkey and South Africa for two days of sessions and networking. Building on the rapidly accelerating demand for digital transformation solutions, IGNITE18 focused on providing our partners with the knowledge needed to truly profit from their partnership with ASG – today and in the future. The agenda included:

  • Having a clearer picture of where the market currently stands and where it is heading
  • Understanding how ASG can help partners meet demand
  • Being in a position to create tangible and actionable strategies to maximize this tremendous market opportunity
 
ASG also conducted deep dives into the latest releases of Data Intelligence (DI), Content Services Platform (Mobius) and Workspaces. For those who missed out, here is a quick recap:
 
Data Intelligence 9.5
2018 has been a big year for ASG’s Data Intelligence (DI) solution. DI received multiple awards and was recognized by Gartner for its metadata management capabilities. This success was underscored at IGNITE18 as our partners and experts exchanged use cases for Data Intelligence in today’s regulation-driven climate. Dr. Selvam Dhamotharan, senior manager at PPI AG, presented business cases that illustrated how customers in the banking industry leverage data and metadata management to ensure sustainable GDPR compliance, implement a modern data governance and manage transformation.

Sue Habas, VP of strategic technologies at ASG, highlighted how partners can empower data managers with DI’s automation capabilities in her session, “How to Monetize Data with ASG Data Intelligence.” She focused on the power of automatic metadata discovery and data lineage, sharing how data managers can easily track and report on metadata and identify all the hubs the data went through to understand and fix any problems. By helping customers leverage these DI capabilities, partners empower businesses to eliminate days and hours of data searching.

Content Services Platform (Mobius 8.0)
ASG partners also gained insights into the latest Content Services Platform (Mobius) news from Rob Perry, VP of product marketing at ASG. In his session, “Digital Transformation Powered by Content Services,” Rob discussed the latest release of Mobius. Architected to take advantage of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud computing capabilities, Mobius offers content and data security, availability and auto-scaling. With these differentiators, partners can set up customers to build an IT infrastructure for the future.
Matthias Kurth, team manager at Comline AG, joined Rob to present customer success stories related to the GDPR and content management within large German organizations. Learn how ASG and our partners help customers reach compliance with Mobius by exploring our case studies.
 
Workspaces
A key component of ASG’s digital transformation is teaching our partners and customers what to expect from a digital workplace. At IGNITE18, Pascal Vitoux, SVP of development and CTO at ASG, discussed how ASG Workspaces provides partners with the ability to differentiate their service offerings through a customizable platform that delivers applications, services, content and self-service provisioning to customers. Sessions then focused on the sales and technical enablement required to help ASG partners deliver that value proposition.

“IGNITE was an excellent platform for networking with ASG and other partners,” said Dave Templeman, Managing Director at DJT Group. “One of the areas where there was excellent interaction were the Q&A sessions, where lots of interesting information as to what some of the partners were finding in the marketplace, resulted in…excellent discussion.”
