ASG Software Solutions today announced that Vice President of Product Management Ian Rowlands will explore the shifting scope and perception of information management at Enterprise Data World 2015 (EDW) during the session “The Changing Governance Landscape ” on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. ET. While at EDW, taking place at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC from March 29 - April 3, 2015, ASG will also showcase how its solution for data governance integrates support for business glossaries, reference data and metadata management, helping businesses execute successful data governance projects.
Businesses today are challenged to respond to increasing regulations, and their efforts to comply amid the evolving information landscape have revealed the need for corporate metadata and data governance. In his session, Rowlands will offer real-world tips and examples of ways organizations can navigate these initiatives. This includes insight into the difference between metadata and traditional IT data governance projects, how big data and technical perspectives are being incorporated into governance systems and ways data governance can provide comprehensive data visibility across the business for continued compliance.
