In response to increasing mobile workforce trends, ASG Software Solutions today announced the launch of ASG-Mobius Luminist, allowing users to easily access corporate content stored in an ASG-ViewDirect® repository directly from an Apple iPad®. Not only does the intuitive app increase mobile workforce productivity by allowing anytime, anywhere access to information, but it also improves security and cost savings by ensuring content access through existing, approved IT systems.
The ASG-ViewDirect Suitebrings together all of an organization’s content, regardless of type, platform or environment, to provide a unified view of corporate information. Now, with ASG-Mobius Luminist, that unified information is accessible via an easy-to-use app, improving remote or in-the-field worker efficiency while removing information bottlenecks from having to go through the home office to get access to critical content. With native iPad monitoring features and available applications, organizations can also ensure the security and regulatory compliance of sensitive information by removing the Luminist app or wiping the device in the event it is lost or stolen.

For example, sales teams can now have fingertip access to the latest reports, inventory counts, product descriptions and customer orders for faster customer inquiry response times and improved sales. Or, to simplify logistics, the Luminist app makes it easy to view up-to-date bills of lading, packing lists, manifests or other documents required for managing inbound and outbound shipments.
