Partner Definitions

Product Partners

The ASG Product Partner program is designed to establish distribution and reseller partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, consultants, and other technology companies who may benefit from integration with, or distribution of, ASG products globally or within a specific territory.

The ASG Product Partner program also cultivates partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and software and technology companies whose solutions can benefit from ASG’s global marketing, distribution, and support networks. OEM partners may also allow ASG to incorporate their technologies into individual ASG solutions, product suites, or product families, and they may also jointly provide marketing, sales, and/or support functions for these integrated solutions.

Strategic Partners

ASG Strategic Partners include IT solutions and services providers, consulting firms, and systems integrators authorized to implement and integrate ASG products from various technology management areas to provide ASG customers and their own customers with more comprehensive solutions and services for market-leading systems, platforms, and applications.

Technology Alliances

ASG and its Technology Alliance partners jointly share technology in order to further develop market-leading IT solutions and services. Comprised of visionary IT companies and independent software developers offering breakthrough technologies, ASG Technology Alliance partners enhance or extend the functionality of products in ASG’s end-to-end IT solutions portfolio to provide increased value for ASG customers. Technology Alliance partners may also authorize ASG to market, sell, or support a full line or selected group of products not owned by ASG.

Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Resellers

The ASG VAR/Resellers program targets independent software application companies that are authorized to use, market, sell, and support a specified group of ASG solutions or ASG’s entire product portfolio. These value-added resellers (VARs) incorporate ASG products into their products and services offerings to provide a more comprehensive solutions portfolio. ASG VAR/Reseller partners may also provide expert deployment and implementation services and product support. ASG VAR and Reseller partnerships enable ASG partners to sell more new-name accounts, enhance maintenance revenue in existing accounts, extend the use of applications, and create additional opportunities for professional services revenue.

Vendor Alliances

ASG and its Vendor Alliance partners jointly share technology to further develop IT solutions, and they also market, sell, and/or distribute enhanced products developed with the shared technology. Vendor Alliances may provide customer services and support. Thus, ASG customers greatly benefit from ASG’s ability to extend its solutions’ capabilities to new systems, platforms, and applications, along with ASG’s increased synergies with Vendor Alliance partner’s technologies, customer services, and support.
