ASG and Radiant Logic,
a leading provider of virtual directory solutions, announced a strategic
alliance that extends ASG’s Security Management product family by providing customers with a
flexible and comprehensive identity infrastructure solution designed to accelerate the deployment
of identity management initiatives. This announcement was made in February, 2004 at the RSA’s
Conference 2004 in San Francisco.
ASG markets Radiant Logic’s Virtual Directory solution as
ASG-RadiantOne™.
ASG-RadiantOne provides customers with identity meta-directory capabilities,
complementing ASG’s existing Security Management products.
"Virtual Directories — as an underlying technology to an Identity Management solution — can be used
to ease the administration and real-time authentication problems of user identity information that
are being stored in many repositories, each with its own schema and owner," said Roberta Witty,
research director at Gartner. She added, "Delivering an integrated view of user information increases

Designed to help build the premier Directory Application Integration (DAI) infrastructure,
ASG-RadiantOne leverages key business assets in existing enterprise systems for critical applications
such as security, provisioning and profiling. Security applications may present IT personnel with the
challenges of unified identity management, Web access control or portal authentication. However,
through support of industry standards such as LDAP and XML, ASG-RadiantOne delivers a flexible
solution that can easily adapt to new and changing application requirements.
