Monitors Your Enterprise in Real-Time
Track resource usage and process activity at the business service level and all of the physical components that make up the service, including server, database, application, network, operating system, application server or online transaction processing level (IMS/CICS/WebSphere), storage, even some third-party applications such as SAP R/3. Important alerts are sent via email to any BSM device or third party product or via WTO console message on the IBM z/OS mainframe. ASG-TMON BSM also allows you to be proactive in managing the environment. Users can set thresholds, (e.g., information, warning, critical, etc.) based on any metric. Alerts can be organized by specific business service, or set to inform at the infrastructure component level. In addition, unlike other software, ASG-TMON BSM has an extremely robust and flexible exception manager. As such, it can be set to have shift sensitivity (e.g., 8:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.) and allow cascading conditions.

On the mainframe, nearly anything that can be issued from an MVS console can be issued from ASG-TMON BSM.
